The terminals of the airports in Egypt are far from each other, but are linked by free shuttle service for every 30 minutes. Taxis are available at the arrival hall entrance and to reach the centre it takes 45 minutes. There are airport shuttle buses as well as public buses. Air-conditioned coaches are also regularly available from Terminal 1.
Car rentals include Budget, Avis, Hertz and Europcar. However, driving should be avoided. The Egypt International airport facilities comprise a restaurant, cafeterias, ATMs, banks, pharmacies, bureau de change, five star lounges facilitating the business as well as first class travelers, internet café, smoking rooms, travel agencies, tourist information desks and duty free shops.Tickets for these flights get sold in Cairo, but at times cheap flights to Egypt can be availed in the airports.
The national and international carrier of Egypt is Egypt Air. The service of Egypt air is average and this fleet needs upgrading. Visitors can enjoy flying with other international flights. The other airlines flying from and to Egypt are Air France, British Airways, Alitalia, Emirates Airlines, BMI, KLM, El AL Israel Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Olympic Airways, Lufthansa, Middle East Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Royal Jordanian and Syrian Arab Airlines. Traveling to Egypt is certainly eye-opening, but is not hassle-free.
