They do not have many airports in Burundi, except for the Burundi International airport operating flights namely Air Burundi, Kenya Airways, Ethiopian Airlines and Rwandair Express. This airport is located six miles from the Bujumbura centre.
The airport has a taxi stand at the arrivals gate and the cost of the services from and to the airport and the city centre is around US$10 or 10000 francs.
